Cairns and Great Barrier Reef region is home to an eclectic array of tastes and gourmet produce, which combine to create a tropical fruit bowl full of fantastic food and wine experiences for you to savour.

Ninety per cent of all Australia’s bananas are grown in the rich soils of Cairns and Great Barrier Reef, with 80 per cent of the country’s coffee and red and yellow papayas (or ‘paw paws’ as the locals call them) are grown and processed here, too.
